It's Game, Set, Match with Sitting Volleyball

The sport of sitting volleyball started in the Netherlands in 1956 and men’s competition was officially introduced into the Paralympics in 1980. Later, women’s teams were brought in during the 2004 games. Sitting volleyball is very similar to the standing version, but of course the athletes are seated on the floor! The net is lowered and the court is shortened, but the action is just as intense! What can beat this exciting sport full of skill and team work!
