LA84 Foundation Awards a Grant to Angel City Sports to Support Adaptive Sports Programming for Kids in Southern California

Angel City Sports is proud to announce we have received a grant from the LA84 Foundation in support of our adaptive sports programming for kids in Southern California. This grant allows us to create a youth specific community outreach program, with a focus on junior high and high school aged youth across the region. We will develop a series of events with schools, hospitals, and youth sports programs, as well as attend children’s festivals and resource fairs, all to improve awareness of and access to sports programming for young adaptive athletes.

The LA84 Foundation is a nationally recognized leader in support of youth sport programs and public education about the role of sports in positive youth development. The foundation, with 30 years of on-the-ground experience, has supported thousands of Southern California youth sports organizations through grant making, while also training coaches, commissioning research, convening conferences and acting as a national thought leader on important youth sports issues.
