Bring out the actor in you!

We invite ages 11-18 to join J.B. Waterman in some fun virtual Acting Workshops! The 8 week course will be divided into three sections: Scene work from contemporary tv shows and films, commercials, and hosting. Every student will be given the chance to find their footing and flourish in this three areas by absorbing essential rules about each and through lots of hands-on practice. The goal is to have fun expressing what's inside of us through the art of acting.

J.B. Waterman has been teaching acting for 5 years to students ages 6-18 at the prestigious Los Angeles conservatory Gary Spatz' The Playground.  In addition to teaching, he's worked as a professional actor for 15 years in commercials, film, theatre voiceover and as a host.  He is also a lecturer at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, narrating their planetarium Star Shows for audiences.  He loves helping students find and express their authentic voice through acting.
