How did you feel after you competed for the first time? Last year at the (2014) UCO Endeavor Games was wild got my running leg the day before the competition. The first time running on it was actually at the Games, makes for a good story.

Why do you want to compete? It’s just fun … the thrill of crossing the the finish line whether win or lose. (Also a Soccer player, minus point of Track & Field is that) I love being a part of a team. Soccer is fun, time is about an hour, more of a mental game. Track & Field is done in 30 seconds, having more of an adrenaline rush than Soccer.

Who inspires you? Kids like me, other athletes are always positive and so optimistic all the time that it is so fun to hang out with. My mom who is a teacher, my dad who is in the Military and is always courageous.

What is your favorite sport to play? Soccer and Track & Field, they’re tied it’s hard to choose!

What is your favorite sport to watch? Soccer and Football. I’m excited to see the upcoming World Cup in Vancouver

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? College Athletics … Paralympics, ultimate goal would be Team USA. I will do my best. For the Angel City Games that year, soccer would be cool. I’d love to learn to surf. It would be great for ACG, there’s a lot of surfers but there’s not a competition for it.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? 25 does seem pretty old right now. I don’t know what I “want to be when I grow up.” Physical Therapy seems interesting with what I’ve been through, something in the medical world. Think there’s a lot of possibilities.
