With our premier, four-day event, the 2016 Angel City Games fast approaching we are looking for volunteers to make this a fantastic event for our athletes! For this year's Games, volunteer opportunities fall into one of two categories based on its responsibility level: ANGELS and WINGS

ANGELS Volunteer – A long-term opportunity that involves having close contact with athletes during the event or being in a position of authority, supervision and trust with athletes and within the organization. This level allows the volunteer to be eligible to fill any role needed at the games (if available).

Angel City Sports cares deeply about our athletes, families, and volunteers and realizes the need to take precautions to ensure their safety. To provide the best experience possible, those interested in an ANGELS volunteer role are required to request a criminal background check. (Note: If you are a minor volunteer, under 16 years of age, you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who will be required to complete a criminal background check.)

Verified Volunteers is the official vendor for Angel City Sports. As an early stage non-profit organization and in order to devote more of our resources to providing a quality program for the athletes, we ask that our volunteers cover the cost for their background screening. This cost is somewhat dependent on the county you reside in, but may be up to $40/individual. Background checks are “owned” by the individual and can be used for other events/organizations for up to one year.

Upon selecting any ANGELS volunteer shifts, an email will be sent to you with specific instructions to complete the easy steps for your background check.

WINGS Volunteer – A short-term opportunity that involves providing assistance and support at a competition or event. Extremely essential to putting on the games and events, these volunteers will assist in tasks such as registration, set-up, event guides, water/ice service, and other key tasks.

All volunteers will receive specific instructions and assignments within one week of the Angel City Games July 7-10.
