Why do you want to compete? Compete to help people, give a reason to be inspired. In the past it was competing to beat people (in Football). Now its competing against yourself to be better.
Who inspires you? Ezra Frech because he is the personification of “No Excuses.” He’s made to inspire, and he doesn’t let anything get in his way. I met Ezra two months after my amputation, and it was like I was slapped across the face to take action.
What is your favorite sport to play? My favorite was Football, now I love Track.
What is your favorite sport to watch? I only watch UCLA Football.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Hopefully the 2020 Paralympics.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Raising money to pay these opportunities forward.
