Angel City Sports (ACS) was proud to hold it’s 5th Annual Gala on April 13th celebrating an Olympic and Paralympic year and the power of adaptive sports.  Themed “Community of Champions,” the event highlighted the life-changing power sports can play for individuals with physical disabilities, the community Angel City Sports fosters, and the incredible people who serve as champions to our adaptive athletes on and off the field, court, pool - parents, coaches, teachers, teammates, family, friends, donors, and our entire ACS community.

Angel City Sports honored Pau Gasol, former Laker and 6-time NBA All-Star, as the 2024 Community Impact honoree. Pau is a champion both on and off the court, from championships, competing in the Olympics, and with his work in the community. Pau met Angel City Sports co-founder Ezra Frech when Ezra was four years old. Pau has been a champion to Ezra on his own personal journey over the last 14 years.
