Ensuring Safe and Inclusive Athletic Experiences
At Angel City Sports, the safety and well-being of every athlete, volunteer, and participant is our highest priority. We are committed to creating a protective environment where adaptive athletes can pursue their sporting goals with confidence and dignity. Our Sport Protection Policy establishes clear standards of conduct, outlines safeguarding procedures, and ensures that everyone involved in our programs—from coaches and staff to volunteers and families—understands their role in preventing abuse, responding appropriately to concerns, and fostering an atmosphere where all individuals can thrive both on and off the field.

Sport Protection Policy
Angel City Sports has adopted the following Sport Protection policies as they relate specifically to Angel City Sports-controlled activities and events, and facilities under Angel City Sports jurisdiction (to mean facilities owned and controlled by Angel City Sports.
Engaging in sport should be an opportunity for all athletes to have fun and spend time with friends. Sport also encourages a healthy lifestyle and builds self-confidence. Athletes often do better off the field than those who do not participate in sport. They learn goal setting, teamwork and time management skills. Athletes are less likely to use cigarettes, drugs and alcohol; they have higher graduation rates and are more likely to attend college.
Unfortunately, sport can also be a high-risk environment for misconduct, including athlete physical and sexual abuse. View our Sports Protection Policy Handbook.
