Celebrating Our 2026 Honorees
Damon Whittaker
2026 Athlete Honoree
Damon Whittaker has been part of the Angel City Sports community since the very first Angel City Games in 2015, and over the years, he has become much more than an athlete. He is a coach, a mentor, and someone who is always encouraging others to get involved and discover what adaptive sports can open up for them.
Now, Damon is chasing a dream of his own: competing as a Paralympic archer for Team USA at the LA28 Games. We were proud to celebrate Damon as our 2026 Athlete Honoree and recognize the impact he continues to make on and off the field.
Jim and Phyliss Easton
2026 Impact Award Recipients
Jim and Phyllis Easton built a legacy rooted in the belief that sport can do far more than create great athletes. Through decades of leadership, innovation, and philanthropy, they helped expand access to sports, education, and opportunity for people throughout Los Angeles and beyond.
Their impact can still be felt across the community today, including through their support of adaptive and Paralympic sports. At the 2026 Annual Awards Gala, we were proud to honor Jim and Phyllis with the Impact Award and celebrate the lasting difference their generosity and vision continue to make.
